The types of landing pages that my website host offers.
I definitely prefer the firs two options as I feel like the grey band on the 3rd option covers the majority of the images and considering this is the first impression that the audience will get of me as a photographer, seeing this image is very important.
I have however, realised a problem with a landscape landing page.. the majority of my images are in portrait format. With this in mind I will go into my next shoots in search of landscape orientated images because not only will this be better for website use but also on blog feeds and to be used as a headers and in double page spreads in magazines. Portrait format can be very limiting.
